Julian Huerta brings over 25 years’ experience with Mexico and U.S. companies

CANCUN August 16, 2018 –Cobalt Holdings, Inc. today announced the appointment of Juliana Huerta to serve as Controller for Cobalt Broadband Services S.A. de C.V. and its subsidiaries.   Ms. Huerta has over 25 years of accounting and finance experience, including financial reporting, budgets, tax planning and reporting, financial systems, payroll management, and day-to-day financial administration management.  Her experience includes numerous companies in Mexico operating as subsidiaries of U.S. and British corporations, utilizing Mexico, US GAAP, and IFRS accounting and financial reporting standards.

Most recently, Ms. Huerta was Controller for two manufacturing companies in Monterrey, Mexico, each with U.S. parent companies.  Her responsibilities included responsibility for VAT, invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, and monthly and annual financial reporting.  Prior to that she was Finance Manager for a major printing company in Mexico – reporting to financial executives in the U.S. and the United Kingdom.  She prepared and delivered all financial statements and tax reports, implemented CRM and CRP systems, and interfaces with the Company’s major independent auditors.

As an Administrative Manager, her experience includes implementation of systems and procedures that emphasize time optimization for personnel, robust internal controls, and internal and external audits.  She is a Certified Public Accountant in Mexico, with additional education and licensing in tax and corporate finance.

Cobalt Broadband Services is a telecommunications provider licensed in Mexico that is building a 180-kilometer fiber-optic broadband network targeting the hospitality industry.
